Bathurst - Mrs. Florence “Flora” Lavigne, 92, wife of the late Harold Lavigne, of St. Theresa Cres., Bathurst, died Friday (May 16, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Maisonnette, she was the daughter of the late Isaie and Marceline Godin. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Harold Lavigne. She is survived by: 1 Son: Paul Lavigne (Fay) of Bathurst 1 Sister: Lydia Klotz of Ottawa, ON Grandson, Stephen, granddaughter, Sandra, nephew, Robert, nieces Anne and Jeannette. She was pre-deceased by 4 sisters, Eva, Valerie, Georgina, Annie, 4 brothers, Phil, Alphonse, William and Wilfred. The body rested at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday morning (May 19, 2003) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
