Bathurst - Mrs. Violette Doucet, 74, of Lynch Lane, Bathurst, wife of the late Lawrence Doucet, died Friday (January 16, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Philias and Josephine (Haché) Vienneau.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Lawrence Doucet in 1991.
She is survived by:

10 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a set of infant quadruplets; Francois, Jacinthe, Lucie and Marie, a granddaughter; Angel, and a brother; Oscar.
The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday afternoon (January 18, 2004) at 4:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Rosaire), St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
