Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Pitre) Legacy. Bernadette Vienneau (Lawrence) of Dunlop Beatrice Couture (late Martin) of Bathurst 5 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body rested at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday (June 23, 2003) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial was in the parish cemetery, King Ave., Bathurst. Pallbearers were Marc André Legacy, Dean Jacques, Alfred Huard, Richard Legacy, Kevin Godin, Roger Tynes.
