Bathurst - Emile Doucet, 81, of Miramichi Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (December 13, 2008), at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Henri J. and Marie (Legacy) Doucet.
He worked as a Logger for most of his life.
He was pre-deceased by his wife this past April, Carmella (Huard) Doucet.

Kathleen Dorey (Richard Boudreau) all of Bathurst
Brenda Doucet (Jimmy Mercer) and
Sandra Foote (Paul) both of Orangeville, ON

Steven Doucet (Cheryl) and
Bernard Doucet (Charlene Goldrup) both of Bathurst
Ronald Doucet (Diane) of Barrie, ON
One sister:
Yvonne Gray (Irvin) of Bathurst
One brother:
Omer Doucet (Jeannette) of Big River, NB
11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by brothers; Maurice, Douglas, Leonard, Theophile, sisters; Ethel, Cordilla, Elizabeth and Kathleen.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday (December 16, 2008) at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday (December 17, 2008) at 2:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Greg Culligan officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, East Bathurst, in the spring.
