Bathurst - Suzanne (Guitard) Levesque, 48, of Victoria Ave., Bathurst, passed away peacefully on Friday (January 9, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Delphis and Thérèse (Doucet) Guitard, and adopted daughter of Marguerite (Guitard) Doucet and the late Charles Doucet. She worked as a Financial Consultant for most of her life. She is survived by: Her dear son: Patrick Levesque of Bathurst Adopted mother: Marguerite Doucet of Belledune One brother: Camille Guitard (Nina) of Bathurst Three sisters: Diane Guitard (Claude Turmel) Ste Julie, Que. Colette Guitard (Nicky Cavaliere) of Montreal Jeanne Guitard of Laplaine, Que. One niece and several nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (January 15, 2009) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Suzanne may be made to the Chaleur Palliative Community Services, Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
