North Tetagouche - Blair Leet, 47, of North Tetagouche, passed away on Wednesday (January 21, 2009) at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Fred and Rosalie (Vienneau) Leet.
Blair was very family oriented and enjoyed camping, hunting, hiking, playing and watching hockey. He worked at Brunswick Smelter for close to 29 years.
Besides his parents of Bathurst, and his wife, Annette (Bernier), he is survived by:
Two children:
Justin and Jennica, both at home
Two brothers:
Stephen (Francine) of North Tetagouche
Cletus (Theresa) of Moncton
His in-laws:
Philippe and Alice Bernier of Bathurst
Several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by an infant sister; Anne Marie.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (January 26, 2009) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Blair may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
