Rough Waters, NB - Richard "Dick" Vienneau, 83, of Rough Waters, NB, passed away on Sunday (October 4, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Wilfred J. and Edith (Vienneau) Vienneau.
He is survived by his wife; Elizabeth (Hachey) Vienneau.
Two sisters:
Ada Doucet (late Alban) and
Jeannette Boucher (late Eugene) both of Bathurst
Three brothers:
Archie (Claire) of Montreal, QC
Ludger (Judy) and
Lorenzo (Jeannine) both of Chamberlain Settlement
Several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was pre-deceased by 2 sisters; Alderine Gray and Agatha McLean.
He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator in Goose Bay, NF, Ontario, Moncton (Bay Construction) and in Bathurst (Doucet's Landscaping). He owned and operated his own Trucking Business and Dick's Auto Repair & Welding.
There was no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (October 7, 2009) at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Richard may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stoke Foundation or a favorite charity.
