Petit-Rocher - Mrs. Marie-Paule Parent, 62, of Petit-Rocher, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday (November 5, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a brief illness. Born in Pointe-Verte, she was the daughter of Alexandrine (Fournier) Lagacé and the late Emile A. Lagacé. Besides her mother, Alexandrine of Pointe-Verte, she is survived by: One daughter: Nathalie Parent (Scott Lockhart) of Fredericton Her special friend; Medard Aubé of Petit-Rocher Two brothers: Robert (Donia) of Pointe-Verte Eugene of Petit-Rocher Fours sisters: Fernande Nostro (Neil) of New York, USA Her twin sister; Pauline Guitard (Jacques) of Pointe-Verte Lucille Morrison (Gilbert) of Beresford Augustine Doiron (Normand) of Pointe-Verte One step-grandson; Spencer Lockhart Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers; Méderic, Ovide, Paul-Aimé, and a sister; Alice. The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Héritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday evening (November 10, 2009) at 7 p.m. from Eglise St. Vincent de Paul, Pointe-Verte. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 5 p.m. until time of Funeral. Donations in memory of Marie-Paule may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
