Bathurst - Gerald Saulnier, 47, of Model Ave., Bathurst, died suddenly on Saturday (April 10, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Marie-Anne (Thibeault) Saulnier and the late Francois 'Frank' A. Saulnier. He worked for Smurfit Stone Paper Mill. Besides his mother of Bathurst, he is survived by: His friend Jessie Carter Brother: Kenneth Saulnier (Opal) of Dunlop Sister: Rose-Marie Saulnier (Richard Coughlan) of Bathurst Adoptive sister: Nicole Hazelwood of North Carolina, USA Three nephews, Keith (Lucie), Kevin (Noella) and Jason (Amélie) Several grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. His God parents, Ovila Godin and Thérèse Saulnier, both of Tracadie-Sheila. The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (April 14, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Mont Carmel), Bathurst.
