Bathurst- Mrs. Rose-Rita Aubie, 78, wife of the late Clifford Sr. Aubie, of the Residence McGraw, Bathurst, passed away at her residence on Saturday (December l9, 2009) after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Germaine (Marcoux) Couture. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by: Six sons: Robert (Gisèle) Aubie of Red Lake, ON Roger Aubie of Montreal, QC Clifford Jr. Aubie, John Aubie both of Bathurst, NB David Aubie of Bathurst Daniel Aubie of Edmonton, AB Two daughters: Joanne (Evangéliste) Pitre of Ste. Anne, NB Judy Aubie (Robert) of Bathurst, NB 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter; Violet (1984), 2 sons; Arthur (1961), William "Bill" (2009), a brother; Arthur and a sister Modest. Visitation will after 3 p.m. Monday (December 21, 2009) from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, 187 St. George St., from where the Funeral will be celebrated 4 p.m. with Father Edmond Chamberlain officiating.
