Bathurst – Alphonse Duguay, 80, of Reese Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (December 24, 2009) at the Dr. George’s L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton after a brief illness.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of late Albert and Emma (Ward ) Duguay.
He worked at the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill.
Besides his wife, Jeannette (Duclos), he is survived by:

Blair all of Bathurst

Linda Duguay of Bathurst

Roméo of Bathurst
14 grandchildren, l9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter; Yvonne, his brother; Rheal, Richard, Raymond and a grandson; Michel.
There will no visitation at the Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (December 29, 2009) at 4 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. Bathurst.
The burial will be in the parish cemetery, Bathurst.
