Bathurst - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death Mrs. Dorothy Scott, wife of the late Murray Scott, on Tuesday (January 19, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 89.
Born in Clifton, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Lila (Knowles) Jagoe and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Murray; brother, Floyd (Fran) Scott; sisters; Alice (Jimmy) Hicks and Marg (James) Cormier.
She is survived by:

Charles (Barb) of Ottawa, ON
Brian (Linda) of Mississauga, ON
Wayne (Yvonne) of Bathurst
Raymond (Richard) of Toronto, ON
Two daughters:
Vivian McPhail (Frank) of Nanaimo, BC
Barbara Keegan (Frank) of Georgetown, ON
10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was an active member of the Saint George's Anglican Church, Bathurst, and will be sadly missed by family and friends.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday (January 23, 2010) at 4 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., with Rev. Roderick Black officiating. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Interment will take place in the spring in Spruce Grove Union Cemetery, Bathurst.
