Beresford – Mrs. Bella Savoie, 92, wife of the late Georges Savoie, of Beresford, passed away on Thursday (February 11, 2010) at the Regional Hospital Center, Bathurst. Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of Prospère and Marie-Anne (Arseneau) Richard. She is survived by: One daughter: Murielle Tremblay (Peter) of Bathurst Two sisters: Elda Richard and Louina Caissie (Vincent) both of Moncton Three brothers: Willie Richard and Léo Richard (Eva) both of Moncton Ernest Richard (Anita) of Rogersville Two grandchildren whom she adored; Shawn (Jen) and Kim Doucet (Christian). Two great-grandchildren; Brayden and Dylan. Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Jimmy in 1970 and a sister; Yvonne LeBlanc (2007). There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (February 15,2010) at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St. Donations in memory of Bella may be made to the Bathurst SPCA or a favorite charity.
