Bathurst - It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce the death of a dear Aunt, Evelyn Theriault, 74, of Bathurst, which occurred Saturday (March 6, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. She had resided in Ottawa for many years before returning to Bathurst. Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Victoria (Daigle) Pitre. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by many nieces & nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews along with long time friend; Andre Leduc. She was pre-deceased by 3 sisters; Ella Landry, Josephine Pitre, Irene Daigle, 3 brothers; Richard, George and Kenneth. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (March 10, 2010) at 2 p.m. with Father Emard Duguay officiating.
