South Tetagouche - Mrs. Betty Anne Chevalier, 62, wife of Michael Chevalier, formerly of South Tetagouche, passed away on Thursday (July 8, 2010) at the Villa Sormany, Robertville, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Marcel and Vitaline (Cormier) Theriault.
She was well known for working in restaurants in the Bathurst area.

Four brothers:
Eldon (Lucienne) and
Omer (Evelyne) both of Bathurst
Nelson (Nicole) of Saint-Laurent
Roger (Sheryl) of Leduc, AB
Five sisters:
Lorraine Morneau (Normand) and
Juanita Lagacé, both of Bathurst
Sandra MacKenzie (Richard) of North Tetagouche
Sharon Lagacé (Aubrey Kearney) of Nigadoo
Claudette Roy (Laurent) of Robertville
Several nieces and nephews whom she adored.
She was pre-deceased by 2 sisters; Rose-Marie Ste Croix and Jeannine Thériault.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning (July 13, 2010) at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Betty Anne may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
