Bathurst, NB - Mrs. Christena “Tena” Boucher, 70, wife of Thomas Boucher, of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, NB, passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Friday, August 20, 2010.

Born in Bay St. Lawrence, Cape Breton, NS, she was the daughter of the late John Alec and Elizabeth (MacNeil) MacNeil.

"Tena" is survived by her loving husband Thomas Boucher.

Daughters;

Fanny Boucher Levesque (J.R.) and

Bonnie Boucher (M.J.) both of Bathurst.

Son;

Terry Boucher (Faye) of Guelph, ON.

Grandchildren; Craig Lindsay, Haley Lindsay and Mason Boucher.

Three brothers;

Stuart MacNeil of Toronto, ON

Larry MacNeil and

Cordell MacNeil, both of Cape Breton.

Two sisters;

Catherine Kingsley of Halifax, NS and

Julia Weiss (Ed) of Saskatoon, SK.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (August 24, 2010) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Christena may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
