Mrs. Therese Cormier, 74, wife of the late Francis Cormier of Bathurst, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, after a brief illness.
 
Born in Bathurst, She was the daughter of the late Aurele and Marion (Guitard) Lavigne.  
 
She is survived by her partner; Alvin Godin.

Margaret Cormier (Edward) of Red Deer, Alta., Beverly Cormier (Allan) of Bathurst, Nicholas Cormier (Nancy) of Sylvan Lake, Alta., Lillian Cormier of Lower Sackville, N.S., Annette Gray (Stanley,) Sheila Frenette, Jacky Cormier, Irene Cormier (Mark) all of Bathurst Tina Cormier (Joe) of Halifax, N.S.,
 
Two sisters;
Linda Martin of Ontario and
Bella Legacy of Bathurst.
 
Two brothers;
Harry Lavigne of Ontario and
Billy Lavigne of Bathurst.
 
23 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was pre-deceased by a daughter; Bella and a brother; Nicholas Lavigne.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Chathedral, St-Andrew Street, Bathurst.
