Bathurst - Guy Perron, 69, of Sunset Dr., Bathurst, died Tuesday (June 1, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Edmunston, he was the son of the late Emile and Evel (Oakes) Perron. Guy worked at the NB Department of Motor Vehicles and also was a Teacher at Bathurst High School, retiring in 1988. He was a volunteer at the Chaleur Regional Hospital Pastoral Group for many years. He is survived by: One Brother: George Perron of Bathurst Three nephews, Mike, Robert & Emile; and one niece, Denise. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (June 4, 2004) at 4:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Rosaire), St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and on Friday from 2 till time of the Funeral.
