Bathurst - Mrs. Bernadette Godin, 80, wife of the late Adelard Godin, of College St., Bathurst, died Friday (June 4, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Bertin) Roy. She was a member of the Holy Family Council Catholic Woman's League, Lady's Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 1935, and Club 200. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Adelard, in 1999. She is survived by: One son: Judson Godin (Elaine) of Halifax, NS One daughter: Evelyn Godin of Saint John Sister-in-law: Agnes Smith of Bathurst One granddaughter: Julie Several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (June 7, 2004) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
