Bathurst- Mrs. Lilianne Saulnier, 76, wife of the late Charles Saulnier, of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst and formerly of Ste Anne’s, which occurred Friday (January 7, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in St. Isidore, NB, she was the daughter of the late Augustin and Marie Anne (LeBreton) Losier.
She worked as a School Teacher for 35 years, most of her career at the former Holy Family School, until her retirement and was a member of SERF. She was a member of the choir at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, member of the “Dames d’Acadie”, “Movement Cursillo” and active with “Movement du remouveau charismatique”.
She is survived by; Two daughters, Line (Carl Lavigne) of Fredericton, NB, Marie-Josée Doucet (Glen) of Tottenham, ON. Three sons, Yves (Sylvie Mousseau) of Moncton, Gilles (Alice Carey) of Bathurst, and Roger (Louise) of Shediac. Four grandchildren; Samantha, Shane, Alexa and Kendrick.
Three sisters, Sr. Joseph de Sainte Anne “Diana” of Belgium, Sr. Gabrielle Losier of Richiboucto and Sophie Hall (Donat) of Gauvreau. Two sisters-in-law, Jeanne Losier (late Edgar) of Tracadie-Sheila and Rachelle Losier (late Alfred) of Sept-Iles, QC. Many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by 4 brothers, Alphonse, Alfred, Edgar and Louis.
The body will rest after 7 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton Funeral Home, (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday (January 10, 2010) at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Sunday from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.
