Bathurst – Mrs. Gloria (Hadley) Frenette, 84, wife of the late Grégoire Frenette, formerly of Ste Anne St., Bathurst, passed away surrounded by her family, on the 18th of March 2011 at the Villa Sormany in Robertville.
Born in Dunlop, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aline (Aubé) Hadley.
She was a former employee of the Hotel Dieu Hospital and the Chaleur Regional Hospital of Bathurst for a period of over 20 years.
She is survived by: Two daughters; Patricia DeGrace (James) of South Tetagouche and Suzanne Comeau (Danny) of Robertville. Two sons; Robert (Marie) of Beresford and Freddie (Lillian) of Pugwash, NS. Three sisters; Anita Kenny of Bathurst, Viola Cormier of Beresford and Lillian Bowes of Bathurst. One brother; Alward Hadley of Dunlop. 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a brother; Donald Hadley and 2 sisters; Pat Fournier and Martha Roy.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (March 21, 2011) at 11 a.m. from the Holy Family Church, Bathurst. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
At the family’s request, donations in memory of Gloria may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada.
