Beresford – Clovis Landry, 72, of Beresford, passed away on Sunday (May 15, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Arthur and Martha (Bryar) Landry.
Clovis worked at Brunswick Mines for 34 years as chief assayer in the lab and was a member of the company’s Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Scott) Landry
Three daughters, Monica Howsam of Whitby, Ont., Diane Davidson (John) of North Tetagouche, and Susan Mark (Brian) of Moncton.
One son, Richard (Debbie) of Beresford.
Two sisters,
Cyrilla Doucet (late Norman) of Bathurst, Huguette Jean (Étienne) of Beresford.
Two brothers,
Roland Landry (Gabrielle) of Beresford,
Guy Landry (late Lorraine) of Edmonton, Alta.
Grandchildren, Blake and Tonya Howsam, Kyle and Cody Landry, Christy Davidson, and Aidan Mark.
He was predeceased by one brother, Olivio Landry.
The Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday morning (May 19, 2011) at 11:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel.
