Ivan Henry, 85, of The Dalhousie Nursing Home passed away on Sunday June 19, 2011 in Dalhousie.
Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late George and Rose (Frenette) Henry.
Ivan is survived by six brothers, Norman, Owen, Arthur, Jim, Eugene and Paul.
He is also survived by two sisters, Joan and Grace, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Donald as well as an infant sister, Eleanor.
Ivan Henry worked in exploration for many mining companies and was a skilled forestry worker with many a tales.
He will be remembered fondly by all.
It has been said of Ivan that he didn't have an enemy in the world. One quote said ''If one can't get along with him, that person should look in a mirror; the reflexion would be the problem’’.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday Morning June 28, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Holy Family Church.
