Olivette Arseneault - 60, of Bathurst, wife of the Roger Arseneault, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a short illness with ALS.
Born in Charlo, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Anne (Roy) Aube.
She is survived by a daughter Jackie (Mike) Poppe of Toronto, a sister Catherine (Rene) Poirier of Charlo, three brothers, Amedee (Louise) of Moncton, Gilbert (Joan) of Eel River Crossing, and Clarence (Shelley) of Charlo and multiple nephews, nieces, and friends.
She was predeceased by a brother Aurele.
Olivette enjoyed and was especially proud of her family and will be remembered for her organisational and accounting skills. She worked with the law firm of Byrne, Riordon, and Lenihan for 20 years and for Microage for 10 years in bookkeeping.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 4, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 5, 2011 at 4 pm at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bathurst followed by a reception in the Church basement.
Donations in memory of Olivette may be made to the ALS Foundation.
