Rough Waters – Edward Boucher, 80, of Rough Waters, passed away on Monday (September 26, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Walter L. and Frances (Doucet) Boucher.
He worked for the former Stone Consolidated at the Pump House.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Doiron (Laurie) of Bathurst and Jennifer Kelly (Ian) of Saint John; seven grandchildren, James, Hailey, Tyler, Tanya, Shawn, Susie and Steven; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Thomas, Leo, Laurier and Gerard all of Bathurst; four sisters, Mary Arseneau and Evangeline Doucet both of Bathurst, Madelaine Boucher of Sarnia, Ont. and Therese Arseneau of Petit-Rocher. Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Brenda, son, Randy, brothers, Jean Claude, Anthony; sisters, Louise, Emelia and Vera.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (September 29, 2011) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Edward may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
