Bathurst - The death of Fay Faulds, 77, wife of John Faulds, of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (January 11, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Gladys (Rogers) Crofoot.
In earlier years, Fay was involved with several organizations which included Jaycettes, Mary Gosnell and J.G. Chalmers Home & School Associations, the Bathurst Figure Skating Club, and the Bathurst Heritage Commission. Formerly employed by Industrial Rubber Ltd, she retired in 1999 after 22 years of service.
Besides her husband, John, she is survived by two children: Brent (Annette) of Bathurst, and Lynn Hebert (Jeff) of Arlington, Vermont, U.S., four grandchildren: Ryan & Jeremy, Kyle & Bret; special cousins: Glenna Loggie, Brian & Garth Loggie and close relatives, Mary Rogers and family; sister-in-law, Joan Jones.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her only brother, George.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday (January 15, 2012) at 1 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Fay may be made to the North Shore Shriner's Transportation Fund, the S.P.C.A or a charity of the donors choice.
