Bathurst – Allison Scott, 81, of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (January 22, 2012) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes.
Born in Janeville, he was the son of the late Aulay and Florence (Good) Scott.
Allison worked for the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill as a Millwright Foreman. Member of the First United Church Senior Choir and the Men’s Choir.
Besides his wife, Verna (Ellis) Scott, he is survived by one son, Myles (Dawne) of Canobie; one daughter, Ellen (Robert Chamberlain) of Bathurst; three brothers: Elmer Scott (Harriett) of Moncton, Francis Scott (Peggy) of Salmon Beach and Roy Scott (Patricia) of Janeville.
2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by 2 sisters: Emily Wiseman, Fern Wiseman and a step-brother, Arnold Good.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday afternoon (January 25, 2012) at 2 p.m. from the First United Church, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. As a token of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the First United Church Choir or a favorite charity.
