1946 - 2012

Bathurst – Diane Grant, 66, of Ocean Ridge Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (March 11, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of Geneva (Frenette) Grant and the late Marc Grant.

Besides her mother of Petit-Rocher, she is survived by two children; Lucie Wilson (Mario Gaudet) of Caraquet and Kevin Wilson (Isabelle Roy) of Fredericton.  Four grandchildren; Samuel, Madeleine, Henri and Laurent.  Two sisters; Léda (Jacques Frenette) and Micheline (Claude Frenette) both of Beresford.  One brother; Tony (Huguette Cantin) of Québec.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her father, Marc, granddaughter Marianne, a sister, Merelie (Eric Turbide of Québec), and a brother, Jean-Marc (Ginette Grant of Petit-Rocher).

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday (March 14, 2012) after 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (March 14, 2012) at 4 p.m. from l'Église St. Polycarpe, Petit-Rocher.  Donations in memory of Diane may be made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation, Extra Mural Program or a favorite charity.
