Bathurst – Robert MacDonald, 67, of Rough Waters Drive, Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Rodrigue  and Emily (Lavigne) MacDonald. 

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Margaret MacDonald in 2009.

He is survived by two daughters:  Allison (Yvon Jean) MacDonald of Big River, Patricia MacDonald of Bathurst;

one grandson, Christopher MacDonald of St. Thomas, ON,

one brother, David (Wendy) of St. Thomas, ON,

six sisters:  Stella Wilson, Dorothy Howey both of St. Thomas, ON, Lena Morse (Steve) of Alymer, ON, Theresa Lavally (Jack) of Vancouver, BC, Agnes Philborrow (George) of Winnipeg, MB, Jeanette Peyton of Florida.

Cremation has taken place.  Burial will be held at a later date in St. Thomas, ON.

Donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
