Bathurst - Mrs. Barbara Gregson, 78, wife of the late Donald Gregson, of Kent Ave., Bathurst, passed away suddenly on Sunday (May 6, 2012) at her residence.

Born in Chatham, she was the daughter of the late Myles and Martha (MacGee) Carroll.

She was a former employee of NB Tel.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by two sons:  Danny (Chantal) of Ashton, Ont., Jeff (Jennifer) of Carleton Place, Ont.,

two grandchildren: Timothy and Jeremy; one nephew, Christopher Astle.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday morning (May 11, 2012) at 11 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Greg Culligan officiating.  Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.  Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
