It with great sadness that the family announces the death of Carmelle (Frenette) Mallet of Petit Rocher, wife of Gérald Mallet, at the age of 71, which occurred on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst after a short illness.

Born in Petit Rocher, Carmelle was the daughter of late Yves ''Pitou'' Frenette and the late Cécile Doucet.

Beside her loving husband, she is survived by her children: Mélinda of Moncton, Marc (Lisa) of Petit Rocher and Daniel (Colleen) of Bathurst; her grandchildren: Antoni, Chloé, Lauren and Adam.

She was the sister of Rolande (David) Midgley of B. C., Fernand (Elsie) of Sault-Sainte-Marie, Gilles (Claudette) of Ottawa, Donald (Nicole) of Gatineau and Marc (Jackie) of Petit Rocher. She leaves also her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Jacques, Jean-Guy and one sister, Rachel and two infants sister and brother: Blondine and Donald.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 4 p.m. from St-Polycarpe Church in Petit Rocher.

 In memory of Carmelle, donation to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
