1927-2012

It is with sadness the family announce the death of Valère Raîche, of Allardville, who passed away on Monday June 18, 2012, at Chaleur Regional Hospital, at the age of 85.  He was the husband of Médora (Lanteigne) Raîche.

Born in Ste-Marie St-Raphaël, he was the son of late Alphonse and Josephine (Savoie) Raîche.

Beside his wife, he is survived by four sons: Hermel (Carmel) of Allardville, Ronald (France) of Mirabel Que., Jacques of Vancouver, Serge (Julie) of Allardville.

Four daughters: Ginette (Jean-Simard) of Sept-Iles, Que., Lucette (Bobby Muckler) of Siegas, Madawaska, N.B., Lucie (Fernand Guitard) of Petit-Rocher Nord, Jacqueline (Yves Noël) of Allardville.

Fiftheen grandchildren: Noël-André, Annie, Stéphanie, Jean-Sébastien, Véronique, Barbera, Andy, Jonathan, Pascal, Andréanne, Annick, Ian, Sara-Ève, Justine-Èva, Mathilde-Ive; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Two sisters: Laudina Stever (late Gérald) of Bathurst and Églantina Raîche of Sorel, Que.

He was predeceased by three brothers: Allard, Césaire, Gérard and five sisters: Êva, Laurenda, Etwilda, Lucia and Noëlla.

Visitations will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Thursday June 21, 2012 from 2-4 pm, 7-9 pm and Friday from 2 pm until time of funeral. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 4 pm Friday June 22, 2012 from Église Christ Roi, Allardville.

In memory of Valère a donation to the parish of Allardville would be appreciated by the family.
