Stanley Joseph Boudreau – of Vienneau`s Residence, formerly of Villa Chaleur, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the age of 101. Born in Pokemouche, N.B. he was the son of the late Stanislaus and Elizabeth (Mazerolle) Boudreau.
He was predeceased by his wife Hazel (Chamberlain).
Stanley lived in Ottawa most of his life and worked as a brick layer and returned to Bathurst after his retirement.
His hobbies included both music and dancing.
He survived by one son, Oliver of Elliott Lake, Ont., one daughter, Hazel (Donald) Gourdine-Kemp of Metcalfe, Ont., one grandson, Gerry (Jackie) Boudreau of Dunlop.
He will be missed by his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Two sisters: Margaret Gallant of Bathurst, Cecile Tremblay of Tremblay Settlement.
He was predeceased by two sons; Gerard, Edgar, one brother, Alfred; two sisters: Marie Stever and Annie Roy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral at Elhatton Funeral Home, 187 St. George St., Bathurst.
Funeral mass will celebrated on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Donations in memory of Stanley may be made to the donor`s choice.
