Bathurst - Mrs. Agnès Comeau, 79, wife of the late Clarence Comeau, of Beresford, passed away on Friday (September 28, 2012) after a battle with cancer.
Born in Beresford, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Gertrude (Haché) Doucet.
She is survived by one son, Roland (Mireille) of Dunlop.
Two daughters: Diane Frenette (Gérard) and Murielle Thériault (Yves) both of Robertville.
Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Three sisters: Alfreda Doucet of Toronto, Evelyn Hébert (Valmond) of Beresford and Blondine Doucet of Toronto; several nieces and nephew.
She was pre-deceased by a son, Roger; 6 brothers: Robert, Raymond, Melvin, Ernest, Aurèle, Clifford A., three sisters: Marie, Florence and Irène.
Agnès worked at the former Bathurst Yacht Club and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18 Royal Canadian Legion in Bathurst.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (October 3, 2012) at 4:30 p.m. from Église St-Nom-de-Jésus, Beresford.
Donations in memory of Agnes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
