Bathurst- Mrs. Joan Ann "Joanne" Pitre, 61, wife of Evangéliste Pitre, of Ste Anne, Gloucester Co., passed away Saturday at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Sr. and Rose-Rita (Couture) Aubie.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Nancy Pitre (Serge Pelletier) of Bathurst.

Two sons: Patrick (Jennifer Pitre) of Bathurst, Stephane of Beresford.

Four grandchildren:  Amy, Alissa, Ashley and Austin.

Five brothers: Robert (Gisèle) Aubie of Red Lake, Ont., Roger Aubie of Montreal, Que., Clifford Jr. Aubie and David Aubie both of Bathurst, Daniel Aubie of Edmonton, Alta.

One sister, Judy Aubie (Robert Bertin) of Bathurst, N.B.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Violet (1984), 3 brothers: Arthur (1961), William "Bill" (2009), John (2010).

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (October 17, 2012) at 2 p.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel.
