1949 - 2012

Bathurst – Helen Carter, 62, of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away Saturday (October 27, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Gertrude (Sawtell) Carter.

She is survived by one brother, Milton A. Carter of Toronto, Ont.

Three sisters:  Evelyn, Carol and Jessie all of Bathurst.

One niece, Pauline.

One sister-in-law,  Geraldine.

1 great-niece; 1 great-nephew; 1 great-great-niece and 1 great-great-nephew.

She was pre-deceased by a sister, Harriet and four brothers: Donald, Charles, Robert and William "Bill".

The body will rest from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (October 31, 2012) from Saint George’s Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst.  Burial will be in the St. Alban's Cemetery, Bridge St.
