1918 - 2012

Bathurst - Mrs. Laudina Stever, 94, wife of the late Gerald Stever, formerly of Dumaresq St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (December 23, 2012) at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in St-Raphael-sur-Mer, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Josephine (Savoie) Raiche.

She worked at the former Hotel Dieu Hospital and then at the Chaleur Regional Hospital until her retirement.

She is survived by six sons: Gordon (Sandra), Claude (Jean), Lloyd (Barbara), Brent (Carole), Bryan (Deedee) and Lee (Diane) all of Bathurst.  One daughter; Brenda Stever of Bathurst. 

One sister, Eglantine Raiche of Sorel, Que.

13 grandchildren: Tracie, Kari, Kezia, Jessi, Mathew, Curtis, Jamie, Danny, Taylor, Jordan, EeVe, Adam and Alex.

She was pre-deceased by four brothers: Allard, Valère, Césaire, Gerald and five sisters: Eva, Laurenda, Etwilda, Lucia and Noëlla.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (December 26, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Laudina may be made to the Foyer-Notre-Dame-de- Lourdes Foundation or a favorite charity.
