Bathurst - Barbara Kerr Guitar, 82, wife of the late Norman Guitar, formerly of St. Camille St., Bathurst, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (March 19, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Thomas William and Laura (Bateman) Kerr.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Norman in 2003.

She was a loving mother and grandmother to three sons: Stephen (Florissa Dobbins), Wayne (Ellen), all of Bathurst and Michael (Susan) of Fredericton.

One daughter, Susan Arseneau (Murray Wafer) of Bathurst.

She was very proud of her seven grandchildren: Bobby, Timothy, Brianne, Jesse, Allison, Kevin and Haley.  Three special great-grandchildren: Lexie,  Connor and Cameron.

Two brothers:  Raleigh Kerr (Margaret) and Wesley Kerr (Marion), both of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a sister, Helen and a brother, Fred.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (March 26, 2013) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. 

Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Red Cross or a favorite charity.
