Bathurst - It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing and greatly loved Albert Larocque, 69, of College St., Bathurst, who passed away on Monday (April 15, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Melinda (Couture) Larocque and the late Henry Larocque.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his beautiful wife, Helen (Couture) Larocque.
Four children: Jessica Larocque (Paul Henry), Bert Larocque (Karen Henry)and Rodney Larocque (Cheri Bouzanne) all of Bathurst and Dale Larocque (Alana O'Neil) of Moncton. Daughter-in-law, Jennifer Boudreau,
Three grandchildren: Nathan, Dylan, Reed and one on the way.
Fives sisters: Simone, Violet, Kathleen, Jeannine and Marjory. Three brothers: Edmond, Roger and Gary
Several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Justin, whom he loved very much.
Albert was one the kindness and greatest man to have walked this earth. He was a strong man and was taken before his time. Albert was an avid outdoorsman and a man of all trades. His children were always his babys although all grown. We will never forget our "Pipi", he will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
Albert "Rocky" Larocque was also very proud to have been an employee of Brunswick Mines for 33 years and was known by all his miner friends as "Rocky" and will be greatly missed by all his miner friends.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday morning (April 18, 2013) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Albert may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
