Bathurst – Théophile Lagacé, 83, formerly the Villa Chaleur, Bathurst, passed away on Monday (May 27, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.
Born in St-Laurent de Matapédia, Bonaventure, Que., he was the son of the late Stanislas and Marion (Couture) Lagacé.
He worked as a carpenter for most of his life.
He was predeceased by his wife, Leonille Lagacé.
He is survived by two daughters: Dorice Boucher (Théodore) of Bathurst and Agita Ruddell (James) of Coboug, Ont.
4 grandchildren: René, David, Bernard and Dean.
1 step-grandson, Bill.
5 great-grandchildren: Victoria, Alexander, Jassica, Kristan and Julien.
2 step-great-grandchildren: Orian, and Cole.
Several brothers and sisters in Quebec.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday (June 4, 2013) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Théophile may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Lung Association or a charity of the donors choice.
