1950 – 2015

In Bathurst, Ronald Alfred Doucet, age 64, husband of Vicky Mallet Doucet, passed away on January 19, 2015. Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late William J. Doucet and the late Jeannine (DeGrasse) Doucet of Bathurst.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters: Rachelle Chiasson (Walter Doucet) of Beresford and Anne Louise Frenette (Jean Claude) of Bathurst.

One brother: Bernard Doucet (Jasmine) of Beresford.

Three nieces: Sonia Chiasson (Heng Sun) of Ottawa, Wendy Frenette (Robert) of South Tetagouche, and Christina Gauvin (Martin) of ShediacRiver.

Four great nieces, several aunts and uncles, with special mention of his aunt, Cécile DeGrasse to whom he was very close, several brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), St Georges St, Bathurst on Friday, January 23 from 1 pm followed by a funeral service at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 pm.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Robert L. Knowles Veterans Unit for their excellent care and compassion during his final weeks.
