1937 - 2015

Bathurst- Mrs. Violette Chiasson, 77, wife of the late Aurele "Bobby" Chiasson, of St. Mary’s Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday April 2, 2015 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Yvonne (Roy) Couture and the late Stanley Couture.
 
Besides her mother of Bathurst, she is survived by one son,  Daniel "Danny" Chiasson (Colette Basque) of Bathurst.

Two daughters: Linda Chamberlain (Jimmy) of Bathurst, Diane Pelley (William) of Lakeview, N.S.

11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.

Four brothers: Leonard (Marguerite) Couture, Lionel (Alice) Couture, Roger (Diane) Couture, George (Rose-Marie) Couture all of Bathurst.

One sister, Jeannine (Robert) Doucet of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Germaine.

The body will rest on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday, April 6, 2015 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral, at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday April 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst
