1951 - 2015

South Tetagouche, N.B. - Henry Christie, 63, of South Tetagouche, passed away suddenly on Sunday April 5, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late James and Noella (Henry) Christie.

He was a former employee of Sobeys in Bathurst.

He is survived by his spouse, Sonia (Pitre) Taylor.

One daughter, Christine Christie (Kevin Wilson) of St. Catherine’s, Ont. 

One son, Michael Christie (Aimee) of St. Catherine’s, Ont. 

One step-son, Johnathan Taylor of South Tetagouche.

Four grandchildren: Karly, Zachary, Logan, Jackson and one great-grandchild, Kyra.

One brother, Kevin Christie (Irene) of Big River.

The mother of his children, Albertine (Caissie) Christie of St. Catherine’s, Ont.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a brother, Paul.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon April 9, 2015, at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Henry may be made to the Diabetes Association or a favorite charity.
