Elizabeth Doucet passed away at Chaleur regional Hosptial, on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the age of 95. Wife of the late Roméo Doucet, formerly of Robertville, she lived at Manoir Bienveillance of Beresford. Born in Sainte-Louise, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Boudreau and Anna Boudreau.
She is survived by four daughters: Julie Briggs (David), Marg Scott (late Ernie) both of Bathurst, Laurette Power (Jimmy) of St. Anne Co. Glouc., Huguette Duguay (Owen Cameron) of Pointe Verte.
Two sons: Gilles Doucet (Cécile) of Dieppe and John Doucet (Marie) St-Hubert, Qué.
Twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Two sisters: Cécile McNeil of Halifax and Emilia Doucet of Toronto and several nieces and nephew.
She was predeceased by two sons-in-law: Allan Duguay and Ernie Scott; three brothers: Richard, Majella, Gérard and three sisters: Imelda, Marie and Amanda.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Elhatton Funeral home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Donation in memory of Elizabeth may be made to Palliative care of the Bathurst Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation or a favourite charity.
