Bathurst - Julien Chabot, 86, of Robertville, passed away on Monday April 20, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in St-Léon-de-Standon, Que., he was the son of the late Louis and Louise (Coté) Chabot.

Besides his wife, Thérèse (Couture) Chabot, he is survived by four children:  Reynald of Victoria, B.C., Nicole Laflamme (Chris) of Terrebonne, Que., JoAnne Blanchard (Peter) of Fonthill, Ont., and Daniel (Susan Thomas) of Lindsay, Ont.

He also leaves three brothers:  Father Gilles Chabot, o.m.i. of St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Que., Théodore Chabot and Pierre Chabot both of St-Léon-de-Standon, Que. 

Two sisters:  Céline Montmigny (J. Luc) of St-Jules, Que. and Lucie Chabot of Quebec, Que. 

Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

Three sisters-in-law: Suzanne, JoAnne, Alma; two brothers-in-law: Vincent and Don.  Several nieces and nephews.

Julien served for 25 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, worked for 22 years at Brunswick Mines, was past president of the Club l`âge d`Or in Robertville as well as president of S.O.A.R. Association of retired Mine employees.  Member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18 Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton' s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon April 24, 2015 at 4 p.m. from Ste-Thérèse-d`Avile Church, Robertville. 

Donations in memory of Julien may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a favorite charity.
