1938 - 2015

Edward Aurèle Thériault, 76, of Thornton Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Saturday May 9, 2015, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a battle with cancer.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Louis and Winifred (Duguay) Thériault.

Besides his wife of 50 years, Stella (Devereaux) Thériault, he is survived by six children: Monique Thériault (Albert Boudreau), Annette Thériault (Daniel Noël), Marie Jeanne Thériault (Rolland Cormier), Rose Marie (Jean-Marie Luly) all of Bathurst, Jacqueline Marshall (Adam) of Gananoque, Ont., and Eric (Corea Anderson) of Prince George, B.C.

Fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren that were the joy of his life.

One brother, Médar Thériault of Bathurst.

Three sisters: Theresa Thériault, Maria Thériault and Clarice Thériault, all of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday May 12, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
