It is with great sadness that we, the family wish to announce the passing of Everett Roy, husband of Adélia Boudreau-Roy of Petit-Rocher which occurred on Thursday, March 15th, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 82. Born in Pointe-Verte, he was the son of the late Cajetan and late Albertine (Lanteigne) Roy.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his five children: Claude Roy (Suzanne), Steve Roy (Bonnie), Daniel Roy (Rachel), Linda Roy (Rolland), Denise Roy (Bryan). His seven grandchildren: Amanda, Christopher, Crystal, Samantha, Joshua, Jake, Sarah and one great grandson, Hayden.
He is also survived by two brothers : André Roy et Fernand Roy (Dorice). Many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and his stepchildren: Lisette (Camille), Edouard (Suzanne), Daniel (Phyllis); also, four step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his former wife Mary Gray-Roy; two brothers: Herménégilde and François, and a sister Marie-Rose.
There will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2 p.m. from the St-Polycarpe Church in Petit-Rocher.
