Mrs. Helen Doctor, 100, wife of the late Bennett Doctor, of Bathurst, passed away on Saturday April 14, 2018, at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Octavie (Thériault) Babin.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral C.W.L., she loved watching hockey and baseball keeping up with CBC news with Peter Mansbridge.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by her children: Douglas (Carmela) of Toronto, ON, Charles (Marie-Claire) of Bathurst and Kenneth (Fawn) of Darthmouth, NS.

Four grandchildren: Elizabeth (Michel), Robert (Deanna), Luca, Gabriel, one great-granddaughter, Olivia.

Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home.  Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday April 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Sacred Heart Cathedral or a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
