North Tetagouche - Arthur Lavigne, of Riverside Dr. and formerly of North Tetagouche, passed away on Thursday December 13, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 91. 

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late David and Clara (Hachey) Lavigne.

Arthur was the proud owner of Lavigne Electric for over 25 years until his retirement.

He is survived by two brothers:  Edgar and John and two sisters:  Cecile Young and  Rita Legacy.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by four brothers, Henry, Ben Aurele, Norman and one sister Corinne Leger.

The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the care given to Arthur.

There was no visitation at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday December 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Arthur may be to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
