Norbert Godin, husband of Ghislaine Godin of Bathurst and formerly of Paquetville, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 at the age of 80.
Born in Paquetville he was the son of the late Onésime and Régina (Thériault) Godin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son Albert (Mona Landry) and one daughter Vivianne (Vernon Comeau), both of Dunlop.
One sister Gracia (late Lorenzo) Haché, two brothers: Réginald (Maria Elward) and Jean-Jacques (Emilia Landry), all of Paquetville as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Norbert was predeceased by a son, André; a granddaughter Anick and three brothers: Gérard, Martial and Albert.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at 11 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Norbert may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
